Due to a winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service and anticipated icy road conditions on bridges and overpasses, San Angelo ISD will be operating on a two-hour delayed schedule on Friday, January 10, for the safety of our students and staff. Buses will run two hours later than normal pick-up time.

Due to a winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service and anticipated icy road conditions on bridges and overpasses, San Angelo ISD will be operating on a two-hour delayed schedule on Thursday, January 9, for the safety of our students and staff. Buses will run two hours later than normal pick-up time. 

As we navigate through the cold and flu season, San Angelo ISD wants to remind our families about the importance of maintaining a healthy environment in our schools. The well-being of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and by working together, we can ensure a safe and productive learning environment for everyone.

Congratulations to the PAYS Fall Class of 2024! A total of 36 students from Central High School and Lake View High School were honored at the PAYS Fall Commencement Ceremony held on December 19, celebrating their resilience and achievements as they take the next step toward success.

Bowie Elementary’s fifth-grade students brought the spirit of all 50 U.S. states to life during the 2nd Annual Bowie Patriot State Fair on December 13. The event celebrated student achievement and blended essential skills from English Language Arts, math, science and social studies into a comprehensive research project focused on one of the U.S. states.
